But if you answered Where can I find this top notch super excitement, I love dancing, me! then, my friend, you have come to the right place: I’m talking about Boogie Wonderland at The Junction, Cambridge, of course.
It is, quite simply, most excellent fun and you need to get your 70s butt there right now. Or if not now then soon, very soon, this weekend, in fact…
It’s simple: if you live in or around Cambridge then you will have heard about Boogie. It’s one of the funnest and best nights going. Here’s how it goes…
You arrive and see the glowing perspex signs above the door. The queue is long but in a good way. Everyone is dressed Boogie-style: flairs, big hair, big smiles, all that stuff.
one day you will look back at this time and wonder why you didn’t make the most of it more often. But at least you will have those incredible memories
As the door-man appears – who is, amazingly, wearing a smile like you are – the doors open and the 70s disco inferno blazes out in a rush of sound. You know you came to the right place. You can feel your dancing feet burning…the need to get in there and have the time of your life.
It is going to go OFF!
Of course, you’re a bit worried that it won’t live up to the hype. You went once before but who is to say it’ll be as good as last time? You should never be too confident.
But as you wait to go in you can’t help but feel excited. It is so exciting. It is so amazing, the vibe here…and one day you will look back at this time and wonder why you didn’t make the most of it more often. But at least you will have those incredible memories of boogey on the dance floor and all that love. Love for everyone, no matter what shape or creed or colour.
Inside, as you enter, it’s raging hot already and the club has only been open for an hour! You love it, you want it, and so you make your way straight to the dance floor to have the best time going. You’re not even going to drink; there’s only one reason you are here and it is to PARTY!
